Cleveland Browns Rookie Quinsion Judkins Arrested in Florida

Recent reports indicate that Quinsion Judkins, a rookie for the Cleveland Browns, was involved in a physical altercation in Florida earlier this month. Allegedly, he attacked a woman during the incident, which resulted in his arrest on charges of battery and domestic violence.

Judkins, who was drafted from Ohio State, was taken into custody by the Fort Lauderdale Police Department over the weekend, following an incident that took place on July 7 with his partner.

The disagreement reportedly began at the Fort Lauderdale airport after their flight. According to a police report cited by NFL Network, there was some tension stemming from a text message Judkins received while waiting for their luggage. While the specifics of the message weren’t disclosed, the woman mentioned she was trying to calm him down.

Things escalated after they got into a car, where the woman claimed the argument turned physical. The police report noted that she said Judkins struck her in the mouth with a closed fist.

The couple’s conflict continued during the drive, and at one point, the woman was seated in the back. The report suggests that Judkins turned around and hit her with his arm and leg, leaving her with additional bruises.

She eventually contacted the authorities a few days later, explaining that she delayed reporting the matter because she felt unwell due to his recent success in his career.

Judkins was released on Sunday after posting a bond of $2,500. A judge mandated that he have no contact with the alleged victim and prohibited him from accessing firearms.

A spokesperson for the Browns stated that the team is aware of the situation and is in the process of gathering more information regarding the incident.
