Cleveland Browns Rookie Faces Domestic Violence Charges

Recently, rookie Quinshon Judkins found himself entangled in legal trouble after allegedly attacking a woman during an altercation in Florida. This incident led to his arrest and subsequent charges of battery and domestic violence.

Judkins, drafted by the Browns from Ohio State, was apprehended over the weekend by the Fort Lauderdale Police, following an event that occurred on July 7th involving his romantic partner. The couple’s argument reportedly began at Fort Lauderdale airport after receiving a text that upset Judkins. The police report doesn’t elaborate on the content of the message, but it was significant enough to contribute to rising tensions.

As the argument escalated, the pair moved to a car where, according to her account, Judkins struck her in the mouth and chin area with a closed fist. The police report highlighted this detail, showcasing the seriousness of the situation.

The conflict continued inside the vehicle, with the woman seated in the back at one point. She claimed that Judkins turned to hit her again with his left arm and leg, resulting in additional bruises. It’s worth noting that she reached out to authorities several days later, explaining that she hesitated to report the incident due to feeling unwell, largely attributed to Judkins’ recent success.

After his arrest, Judkins posted a $2,500 bond and has been ordered not to contact the alleged victim or possess any firearms. The Cleveland Browns organization has acknowledged awareness of the situation and is in the process of gathering more information.

As for any further comments? A representative for Judkins has yet to respond.
