INGERSOLL: UFOs Are Not Real (And Are Silly)

Good morning, readers,

HAPPY FRIDAY! Well, this might be a bit challenging for some of you …

UFOs ARE NOT REAL

Okay, I know some of you might disagree with me, but I genuinely believe UFOs aren’t real. And aliens? They don’t exist, either. They’re, well, as fake as it gets.

Recently, a UAP “whistleblower,” David Grusch, appeared on Joe Rogan’s show and claimed there’s a conflict on Earth between two alien races, “the grays” and “the reptilians.” He even mentioned that humans got involved in this so-called conflict, engaging in a shootout with these reptilian beings.

I really can’t fathom why anyone buys into this. In a time when sensors are everywhere—across the globe, in our oceans, and in the sky—how could we think that a battle between different alien species and humans could go unnoticed?

Briefly about Grusch’s background: He served as an Air Force intelligence officer for 14 years. That sounds impressive, right? But, in reality, many of these individuals serve more as meteorologists than spies. They mainly track weather patterns, nothing too thrilling. They’re not out there saving the world.

During his six years at the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), he managed satellites, which fits with his weather-related background. Sure, he held a position involving UAPs with sensitive information, but let’s view that with caution.

It’s worth noting that generally, strange or confused individuals often find their way into these types of roles. I also have a Top Secret clearance, obtained through the State, and, trust me, there’s a level of disorganization that’s a bit shocking! The woman handling my paperwork misplaced everything, and they had to start over. So, yeah, incompetence tends to be more common than many realize.

Interestingly, someone at the CIA was recently exposed for using a false identity and stockpiling gold bars. And, for a bit of personal insight, my aunt, who spent 20 years in the Navy handling cryptography, now lives in Florida crafting jewelry and practicing wicca. Quite the change, right?

It’s not unusual for former intelligence personnel to build a persona post-service based on intrigue. Most of them, frankly, are just profiting off our lack of understanding.

Now, what makes me so sure aliens are fictional? Well, I used to be a photographer, and I can tell you that around 99 percent of UFO videos can be explained by an optical illusion called parallax. If you check out certain videos, you’ll better grasp what I mean by “UAP” footage showing some mysterious fast-moving objects. The catch is, the object is often not actually moving. It can be, quite literally, an illusion.

Most videos showcasing floating objects are just visual tricks, similarly to the 3D images that require a different focus to see. They’re not real!

There are a few videos that are harder to explain, but they still likely have an optical explanation that we just haven’t decoded yet.

And then there’s the issue of testimonies—like the ones Erik Weinstein discusses, involving accounts that span decades from various demographics such as pilots and officials. Doesn’t that make it compelling?

Well, it might seem so, but consider how some folks still believe in ideas like “long covid.” It’s wild to me that we allowed ourselves to panic over a virus that led to an almost global hysteria. We once thought conspiracy theories about political figures were credible. In the past, people actually dug up playgrounds thinking they’d find something sinister. It’s astounding what we’ve been through!

This tendency appears even stronger in areas where religious beliefs have faded a bit. Honestly, reflecting on the witch trials, I can’t blame the past when considering recent situations.

And let’s be clear about one thing: interstellar travel is a myth, a distant fantasy.

People affiliated with NASA, even those like Elon Musk who often talk about going to Mars, understand that humans can’t escape Earth. We’re biologically tied to this planet. Spend a prolonged period in space? Chances are, health issues arise. Studies on weightlessness haven’t been encouraging at all (actually indicating that it could be problematic).

And the vastness of space complicates matters even more. It’s not just a short trip to the next star; it’s an unfathomable distance. Even if life forms could live for thousands of years, the effort to traverse those distances just to abduct a random farmer seems improbable.

So, to summarize, every potential journey from Mars or further would likely end up being one-way. The same goes for hypothetical visitors to our world, regardless of their potential life spans.

I’m skeptical that any promised discoveries from any sort of alien encounter would really be that appealing. Honestly, I’m left questioning if these creatures even exist at all. It feels like the reality we’ve created is more of a shared fear—a delusion to combat loneliness.

But remember, we’re not alone, dear readers. Perhaps step away from the tales of make-believe aliens and consider attending a Mass instead.
