Ingrid Andres’ performance of the national anthem before Monday’s celebration at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, drew harsh criticism on social media.

“That playing of the national anthem was more harmful to America than the attack on Pearl Harbor.” Written by a certain X user.

“A terrible new national anthem has been released.” Another Post.

“This is the worst national anthem I’ve ever heard.” Add another one.

The 32-year-old country singer is a four-time Grammy nominee and may soon join other historically terrible national anthem performances.
