Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver AJ Brown was spotted reading a book during Sunday's wild-card playoff win over the Green Bay Packers, and a self-help book has risen to the top of Amazon's popular list. I jumped out.
During the fourth quarter of the game, Brown was seen perusing Jim Murphy's book. Inner excellence: training your mind for exceptional performance and the best life possible.

After the game, Brown explained why he took out his book while sitting on the bench.
“I always go back to the beginning of the book,” Brown said. “It just shows you if you can just have a clear mind and remember that nothing else matters, a clear conscience, that nothing negative or positive matters. You're willing to take risks. You can also say, if you're humble, you're not shy.”
“It gives me peace,” he says saidaccording to NFL Network. “This is a book that I bring every game. My teammates call it recipes. … It's got a lot of takeaways. It was a lot of mental games.”
