Inside Giants QB Jaxson Dart's extravagant home search

Giants Rookie Quarterback Jackson Dart Seeks New Home

Jackson Dart, the rookie quarterback for the Giants, is on the hunt for a new place to settle into after signing a lucrative four-year deal worth $17 million with the team.

At 22 years old and coming from Ole Miss, where he was the 25th overall pick in this year’s draft, he’s been putting in extra hours visiting various homes and apartments in New York City and New Jersey.

“I need to know where I live,” Dart shared in a YouTube video. “I’m thinking about the look of the penthouse, but I’m also open to just finding the best spot that feels like home.”

Dart recently visited a nearly $4 million home in Short Hills, New Jersey.

“Honestly, I’m going to have my mom help me with the furnishing,” he mentioned, hinting at his personal touch in the process.

He took a little break to pick up Giants tight end Theo Johnson for two shopping excursions before trying his hand at making pizza at Joe’s, mixing it up with some younger fans.

Next on his list: a penthouse in Jersey City priced at $3,440,000, complete with floor-to-ceiling windows and a spacious private deck.

“The suburbs aren’t really my thing right now,” Dart said. “I’m excited to see what’s out there. There are some great views of the city and better access to the water.”

During his tour of the building, he inquired about purchasing a common area, expressing a desire to convert it into his home.

The sales consultant indicated that, well, it would likely cost over $10 million to secure that space.

Dart joked about it in good spirits.

Elsewhere in the video, he conveyed that he doesn’t really feel pressure entering his rookie season. “I don’t think there’s anything too crazy on my back,” he noted. “I’m focused on learning the playbook and building relationships with my teammates.”

Giants head coach Brian Daball quickly named Russell Wilson, a veteran Super Bowl champion, as the starting quarterback after Wilson signed a one-year deal in March.

“These guys compete here, but Russ is our starter,” Daball stated at the start of training camp.

Additionally, the Giants secured a two-year contract with veteran Jamaice Winston this past March.

Tommy DeVito, who began his NFL journey with the Giants practice squad after going undrafted, is also part of the depth chart.

Dart showed some potential in his first preseason game against the Bills, completing 19 out of 12 passes for 154 yards and throwing a standout touchdown pass, helping secure a 34-25 victory.

The Giants will face the Jets on August 16 and wrap up their preseason against the Patriots at home on August 21. Their 2025 campaign kicks off on the road against the Commanders on September 7.
