Inside the upscale San Francisco hotel where Victoria, daughter of Tommy Lee Jones, passed away

The upscale Fairmont hotel in San Francisco, where Victoria, the daughter of actor Tommy Lee Jones, reportedly passed away from a suspected overdose, has a rich history of hosting renowned figures, including presidents and celebrities, and has been featured in classic films like “Vertigo.”

Situated atop Nob Hill, room rates at the Fairmont can soar up to $1,700 nightly, with luxury suites offering breathtaking views.

The hotel, a striking Beaux-Arts design, serves as a favored destination for politicians and celebrities alike. It recently played host to former President Joe Biden during the 2023 APEC conference and has hosted extravagant political fundraisers, including a gala organized by Kamala Harris that boasted ticket prices reaching $250,000.

While the restaurant buzzed with tourists around New Year’s Eve, it experienced a stark contrast on Friday, as staff were seen dismantling holiday decorations like a life-sized gingerbread house and festive bar setups.

Sources shared with the Post that Jones had been facing legal troubles prior to her death, described as a “problem child” with a notorious reputation.

She was known to frequent North Beach, a popular nightlife district, where a bouncer at Vesuvio bar recounted an interaction, noting her abrasive demeanor, claiming, “I’ve never had her in the house before, but she was like, ‘Fuck you.'”

Reportedly, “She was never a kind person.” Court documents indicate that Jones had three arrests last year, including one linked to a drug-related incident in Napa County for drug possession and resisting police.

In April, she was arrested in Napa County under similar charges, including being under the influence of a controlled substance and obstructing law enforcement.

Additionally, she faced charges related to domestic assault but was released on bail.

The Fairmont, renowned for its stunning city and bay views, has also been spotlighted in films like “The Rock” and “Dirty Harry.”

Jones was discovered on the 14th floor shortly after 3 a.m. on Thursday. Although an official cause of death remains pending, authorities are leaning toward an overdose as a strong possibility.

One officer suggested that fentanyl was likely involved, stating, “People are taking all drugs with fentanyl now.” He added, “If you attach it to everything you measure, everything becomes stringy.”
