Insider from Bohemian Grove reveals details after celebrity list is released

Revealing the Secrets of the Bohemian Club

There’s a certain mystique about a secretive forest gathering that many suspect influences global affairs. This week, however, a significant portion of that mystery was unveiled, showcasing a list of notable members.

The membership roster, featuring names like Conan O’Brien, billionaire Michael Bloomberg, and former Google CEO Eric Schmidt, has stirred surprise—perhaps even shock—among those who thought this society was all about privacy.

Confirmed by the California Post, the list identifies around 2,000 individuals who attended this gathering in Monte Rio, located two hours north of San Francisco, in 2023, along with the camps they belong to.

Insiders provided additional context about the inner workings of Sequoia, a well-guarded secret for nearly a century and a half. One insider remarked, “This is indeed an accurate list, but it mainly categorizes members by their respective camps.” They emphasized the club’s reluctance to disclose details publicly, confirming, “While a member list exists, it’s not something we share since we are a private body.”

Membership in the Bohemian Club allows individuals to attend this annual event, where they’re invited by friends to choose among 127 camps with names like Abby, Better All, and Camel.

To join a camp, a person must first be a club member. The invitation usually comes from friends within the club, which carries its own weight.

Many view the Bohemian Club as something akin to an elite Illuminati group pulling strings behind world events. High-profile former members such as Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, and Henry Kissinger add to this perception.

While acknowledging the intrigue surrounding these claims, an official insisted that actual business dealings don’t happen within the club. “You’re not allowed to discuss business at all. If you do, you risk expulsion,” they noted.

The club’s motto, “Weaving Spiders Come Not Here,” taken from Shakespeare’s *A Midsummer Night’s Dream*, serves as a reminder to leave business discussions outside.

It’s worth noting that while the club does keep certain discussions private—with politicians and military leaders—its primary focus is on arts and culture. “It’s fascinating how much public interest there is, considering we’re centered on creativity,” one member reflected.

Interestingly, tales of bizarre rituals and even accusations of dark practices swirl around the event. Over the years, reporters have tried to gain entry, yielding a mix of sensational stories. A particularly dramatic account from conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, who sneaked in around 2000, described strange ceremonies. However, his cameraman characterized it more as a bustling gathering reminiscent of exaggerated college parties.

An insider reflected, “The claims around conspiracies related to the club often veer into absurdity. In truth, it’s not unlike any other social gathering—good food, music, and camaraderie.” They even shared a story about a man who faced suspension for jumping into a lake in front of the owl shrine—an odd scene indeed.

Another pointed out that, like many men’s clubs throughout history, the Bohemian Club has a notorious reputation for excluding women. Any discussion around changing that policy seems distant; the official commented, “Right now, we have no plans to admit women. I think it could be a good idea, but change comes slowly here.”

Recently, independent journalist Daniel Bogslow spent significant time tracking down members to produce the list, which he made public on Wednesday. Among other distinguished names on the list were Jimmy Buffett, Paul Pelosi (husband of Nancy Pelosi), and noted political donor Charles Koch.

“The Bohemian Club maintains a policy of confidentiality regarding its members,” a club representative reiterated.
