Intruder with previous aggravated battery charges won’t leave home’s doorway, says homeowner has to shoot. Homeowner obliges.

The Madison County Sheriff’s Office, which took over the investigation because the homeowner’s family members are part-time employees of the Collinsville Police Department, said the homeowner asked Gegen to come out the front door of the residence, but Gegen did not respond. decided to refuse.

According to KDSK, the homeowner was fearing for his safety and had asked Gegen to leave “on multiple occasions” when he obtained a gun from inside the home.
