Authorities are delving into the mysterious disappearance of 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie, particularly scrutinizing a specific timeframe in the weeks leading up to her last known whereabouts.

Police are requesting that neighbors share any surveillance footage from January 11th to January 31st, especially for times between 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.

Investigators specifically seek recordings from January 11th (9 p.m. to midnight) and January 31st (9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.). Notably, they are also looking into a “suspicious vehicle” spotted on Entrada Street around 10 a.m. on January 31st.

Former FBI agent John Nantz noted that when police focus on such a narrow time frame, it often indicates they are trying to confirm known movements and trace possible routes.

He mentioned, “When a specific time is highlighted, it could be about confirming a timeline or tracking vehicular movement, perhaps piecing together a route.” Nantz also pointed out that targeted interviews often follow the retrieval of significant surveillance footage to fill in any gaps in the investigation.

As of now, the authorities have not disclosed what transpired during these times. Efforts continue to locate Nancy Guthrie, but many details remain under wraps. The family stated she was last seen being dropped off at her home on January 31st, between 9:30 and 9:45 p.m., shortly before the garage door was recorded closing at 9:50 p.m.

Later, a doorbell camera footage showed a disconnection at 1:47 a.m. on February 1st, followed by movement detected by another camera at 2:12 a.m., and, finally, her pacemaker was disconnected via an app at 2:28 a.m.

Guthrie’s absence from her usual activities sparked concern, and her family checked in on her at around 11:56 a.m. that same day, prompting authorities to be notified and respond shortly after.
