Investigators confirm that DNA found on Nancy Guthrie's property is not linked to anyone in her inner circle.

DNA evidence from an individual who was not known to have been in “close contact” with Nancy Guthrie has been found at her home in Arizona. This may represent a significant development in the ongoing search for the 84-year-old and her suspected abductor.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department reported that unidentified DNA discovered on Guthrie’s Tucson property has been sent for analysis as part of their latest update.

“DNA from individuals other than Nancy Guthrie and her close contacts was collected from the property,” the sheriff’s office explained.

“Investigators are working to identify whose DNA it is.”

Timeline of Nancy Guthrie’s Disappearance:

Officials confirmed the discovery of multiple gloves during the search for Guthrie, who was last seen on February 1 when she failed to show up for church.

Surveillance footage captured the suspect, who may have kidnapped Guthrie, wearing two black gloves outside her home, which could be a vital clue in the case.

Latest Updates on Nancy Guthrie

The suspected kidnapper is described as a man of average build, standing between 5 feet 9 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall, according to the FBI.

He was last spotted in the original doorbell footage carrying a 25-liter Ozark Trail Hiker Pack backpack.

The nearest gloves to the kidnapping site, including one found by a reporter recently, were located about two miles from Guthrie’s residence.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Office’s update follows a revelation that TMZ had received a third ransom demand email, with the sender claiming knowledge of Guthrie’s kidnapper’s identity. The message requests a $100,000 ransom from the FBI in exchange for this information.

Authorities are looking into the ransom note sent to the media, though they acknowledge it might not necessarily be connected to Guthrie’s case.

Thirteen days after the troubling circumstances began, no suspects have been identified by investigators.

Nancy Guthrie’s adult children, including Today host Savannah Guthrie, have openly pleaded with their mother’s abductors to reach out and provide reassurance regarding her well-being.
