Iowa supporters go crazy for Caitlin Clark as Fever star makes her comeback.

Caitlin Clark Returns to Iowa for Pre-Season Game

It felt almost like Caitlin Clark had never left Iowa. The WNBA star made a much-anticipated return to her college, where she drew enthusiastic applause and cheers from Hawkeye fans during a pre-season game.

Fans gathered around the arena, eager to witness Clark in action at Hawkeye Arena. This was the same venue where she had spent four years honing her skills and rising to fame in college basketball.

Interestingly, ticket prices have skyrocketed, averaging about $670—this marks the highest rate since 2015, as reported by Vivid Seats.

Inside the arena, Clark took a moment to connect with fans. Peeking out from the locker room, she stopped to sign autographs as supporters reached over the railing near the player’s tunnel.

“It’s exciting to see Caitlin and how much she has developed and how different this professional team is compared to the one at the university,” noted fan Rick Mason.

Before the game, Clark expressed her excitement about returning to Iowa. “Honestly, I haven’t been back to Iowa City since I left a year ago,” she said. “I returned once for a football game and once for a jersey retirement, so it’s wonderful to be back. I’ll get to see my former teammates and friends, plus many family members are coming too.”

When introduced by the public address announcer, Clark received another warm round of applause. It felt reminiscent of her college days as she prepared to make her first shot.

The atmosphere was electric when she opened the scoring with a pull-up three-pointer, drawing loud cheers from the crowd—a moment that seemed to resonate deeply with everyone present.
