After the Buckeyes defeated the Hawkeyes 100-92 in overtime on Sunday afternoon, Iowa State sharpshooter Caitlin Clark clashed with an Ohio State fan who stormed the court.
After the game, Clark was seen running toward the tunnel as Ohio State fans spilled onto the court. Clark and Huang didn't seem to see where they were going until it was too late. Clark absorbed the shock and fans continued to celebrate.

Ohio State players and coaching staff from both teams came to take care of Clark. She was helped back to the locker room, but she told reporters she was okay after the blow.
“Right now, obviously, you see them storming the courtroom, and that's totally fine. I mean, it's good for the students,” Clark said, via the Dayton Daily News.
“It was a great win for them and I was trying to get off the court as quickly as possible so I started running and I just got hit by someone trying to run onto the court and I was basically blinded… It was a little scary. I could have been seriously injured. “It knocked the wind out of me. But luckily my teammates picked me up and took me off the court.”

Clark added that Ohio State University's athletic director has apologized to her.
“I'm sure they tried their best to do the best they could,” she said. “Of course it didn't work out and I'm disappointed, but now I'm just focused on the game and how I can get better.”
Although No. 2 Iowa State lost to No. 18 Ohio State, Clark scored 45 points.
