Iowa Hawkeyes superstar Caitlin Clark has learned at least one thing she can learn without relying on a professor or taking a semester's worth of classes. With great fame comes greater scrutiny.

Clark is one of the best players in women's college basketball and is inching closer to becoming the sport's all-time leading scorer. But as she gets closer, her spotlight becomes even hotter.

She was asked on Saturday how she deals with the fallout that comes with being a star.

“I think I'm just worried about being in the moment and enjoying this moment,” she said after dropping 30 points at Indiana. “The people that I really care about, the people that I really love, they always have my back. When I take off my basketball shoes, take off my uniform, and finish playing one day, Those are the people that really matter.'' It's going to be important to me.

“Those are the guys that are going to be really important to me. Their opinions are going to be important to me. My teammates' opinions, that's what's important to me. Coach's opinions. But yeah, it's when you're It’s something that comes with you.”

Iowa State defeated Indiana 84-57 and moved to No. 2 in the latest Associated Press Top 25 rankings. The Hawkeyes are 17-1 on the season and 6-0 against Big Ten Conference opponents.

Kelsey Plumb became women's college basketball's all-time leading scorer with 3,527 points, surpassing Jackie Stiles' previous record. Clark is 10 points away from fourth place on the list. She has always scored her 3,283 points.
