Iranian Activist Makes Threat Against Cenk Uygur During Intense Debate

Piers Morgan’s Controversial Iran Panel

Piers Morgan, in an episode of “Piers Morgan Uncensored,” led a panel discussion about Iran that stirred up quite a bit of controversy. Featured on the panel were Cenk Uygur from “The Young Turks,” Goldie Ghamari, a former Ontario parliament member born in Iran, Chuck Todd, the former “Meet the Press” host, and Rob O’Neill, an ex-Navy SEAL.

During the discussion, Uygur expressed his opposition to U.S. intervention regarding the Iranian regime, especially in light of ongoing protests. Ghamari responded to this by stating, “In the last two days alone, the Islamic dictatorship has massacred more than 12,000 Iranians, which is the lowest number we know of at this point. So what Iranians are saying is they know it’s either freedom or death, and they’re going to fight to the end.” She emphasized that despite the crackdowns, people are still resisting.

Ghamari further dismissed Uygur’s views, claiming he does not represent the Persian people. Their exchange grew tense, with Ghamari stating, “Every word that comes out of your mouth is garbage. You are irrelevant.” At one point, she switched to another language, seemingly issuing a warning directed at Uygur about future accountability.

Meanwhile, reports surfaced that the U.S. military began evacuating some personnel from Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, signaling rising tensions as President Trump considers military options against Iran. In a post on Truth Social, Trump reached out to the anti-government protesters in Iran, reinforcing that “American aid is imminent.” He urged Iranians to continue their protests, insisting that those responsible for oppression would pay a “heavy price.”

Additionally, Trump declared he would halt all meetings with Iranian officials until the violence against protesters ceases, stating that “Help is on the way.” His comments come as sources indicate that he’s been briefed on a spectrum of military strategies concerning Iran.

The protests began last December due to economic discontent tied to a collapse in Iran’s currency. What started as an economic issue has morphed into widespread violence against the regime, which has responded violently. Some estimates suggest that the death toll has surpassed 2,500.
