Pluribus Update: What’s Next for Carol and Manusos?
It’s been nearly a week since Carol Starka met Manusos Oviedo, and, well, we want more right now. In Episode 6 of pluribus, she faced a tough choice between love and responsibility.
Initially, Carol opts for a relationship with Zosia, but after discovering that the Others are using her frozen eggs for their own agenda, she decides to return home. By the end of Episode 9, Carol resolves to join Manusos in the fight to save the world.
This raises some big questions: Can Carol and Manusos reverse their involvement before the Others adapt the virus further? Will Carol reunite with Zosia? And what lies ahead for other characters like Mr. Diabatte and Lakshmi? We’re eagerly awaiting new episodes of Vince Gilligan’s acclaimed sci-fi drama. But it’s unclear when exactly we’ll get them.
Is There a New Episode of pluribus This Week?
Unfortunately, it looks like there won’t be any new episodes on Thursday or Friday. If you were hoping to catch something fresh, well, that’s too bad.
How Many Episodes Are in pluribus Season 1?
To clarify, pluribus Season 1 has nine episodes total. Yep, not eight and not ten—just nine!
Will There Be an Episode 10 of pluribus?
No, unfortunately! A nine-episode season can feel unsatisfying, especially with Episode 10 hinted at, but that’s the deal for this season. Still, there’s no need to panic just yet.
What About Season 2 of pluribus?
Yes, there’s good news! Season 2 has already been confirmed. In fact, it was greenlit even before Season 1 premiered, which is pretty smart considering the show is now the most-watched in Apple TV’s history.
When Will Season 2 Premiere?
While the exact premiere date for Season 2 hasn’t been released, it seems we might have to wait a while longer. Reports suggest it could be two to two-and-a-half years before we see new episodes again. It’s frustrating, but stay tuned for updates from Gilligan and the team.
What Can We Expect in Season 2 of pluribus?
With Vince Gilligan at the helm, we know to expect the unexpected. Following the dramatic events of Season 1’s finale, it appears that Carol and Manusos will continue their mission to overcome the threats posed by the Others. Carol has a limited time frame to act before the Others alter the virus for their benefit, which really adds to the tension.
After chatting with Samba Schutte, who plays Mr. Diabaté, I’m hopeful that Season 2 will delve deeper into the other Immunes. Maybe we’ll see more backstories or even flashbacks? And even though Zosia parted ways with Carol, there’s a good chance she’ll return in the new season. It would be great to capture all the elements that made Season 1 so compelling, along with some fresh twists and risks.
Will There Be a Season 3?
While there hasn’t been an official statement from Apple TV, we know that pluribus is continuing to attract large audiences, breaking records set by previous hits. It seems likely that Apple will want to extend its run for as long as possible.
Gilligan has thrown around the idea of a four-season arc, and he seems eager to keep it going as long as Rhea Seehorn is on board. It’s a reasonable request to hope for something like ten seasons. Given Gilligan’s track record with shows that evolve significantly over time, here’s to hoping pluribus will enjoy a lengthy run.
How to Watch pluribus
If you’re looking to catch up on past episodes or see what’s new, you’ll need a subscription to Apple TV since this is an original series. There’s a seven-day free trial available for new subscribers, and it offers a single ad-free streaming plan for $13.99 a month.
Keep an eye out for future updates about Season 2 of pluribus.
