Is ‘Found’ Renewed or Cancelled? Information on Season 3

Television often feels like a cycle—some shows come into our lives, while others leave, often too soon.

Recently, we had to bid farewell to quite a few beloved series. HBO Max’s quirky sitcom Female College Student’s Sex Life was not well-received. Then there was Apple TV+’s adventurous workplace comedy Mythology Exploration, which really didn’t make the cut. NBC’s Suit LA just failed to recapture that original series spark. And the revival of Frasier? Honestly, it seemed more of a tossed salad—missing all the good bits—and unfortunately got the axe.

Last week, NBC aired the season 2 finale of the drama Found, led by Shanola Hampton. Fans are left asking: what’s next for this show? Is there going to be a season 3? Here’s what you need to know.

Is Found on tonight (May 22nd)?

No, it isn’t. The finale for Found‘s second season premiered on Thursday, May 15th.

NBC’s Schedule for May 22nd:

This evening, NBC is set to air the first two episodes of Transplant Season 4 from 8 PM to 10 PM, followed by Law and Order (Season 24, Episode 4: “The Meaning of Life”).

Has Found been cancelled?

Unfortunately, yes. Earlier this month, NBC confirmed the cancellation of Found after just two seasons. But, there’s a glimmer of hope. WBTV, the production company, is looking to pitch the show to other networks.

Where to watch Found online:

Both seasons of Found are available for streaming on Peacock. If you have a cable login, you can also catch the second season on the NBC website.
