Is Justin Rose the next PGA Tour star to switch clothing sponsors?

Jason Day has already made a big change in fashion by moving from Nike to Malbon Golf in 2024. This up-and-coming brand has already captured the attention of the golf world with its changes.

Will Justin Rose be the next PGA Tour player to make a change, or has he already made a change?

On the surface, he looks no different from a veteran player, but if you look closely, there are hints.

One of the most stylish players on tour, he's one of the players I look at every week to see how he's dressed. Not many people may notice this, but as a golf fashionista, just his one post from Rose got me interested.

So let's break it down.

Sentry's Justin Rose

he said after Sentry's second round at the Kapalua Plantation Course on Maui, Hawaii. simple photos On Twitter.

“I hope my putting turns on (with fire emoji) this weekend,” Rose wrote.

The caption seems innocuous, right? that's right.

But that didn't pique my interest. It was who the 43-year-old tagged and what he was wearing in his photos.

Rose wore a classic floral polo shirt from luxury golf brand Peter Miller.

Some of you may be wondering, “Is this really funny?”

Yes, it is.

Bonobo Golf may no longer smell like roses.

Rose has been a Bonobo Golf Ambassador since 2019. He and the brand grew closer when he created his own collection with Bonobo Golf.

Justin Rose x Bonobos launched in March 2021, and he helped co-design the golf brand's range of printed polos, pants and shorts. It was a fashionable collection that appealed to the masses. Not to mention, Rose's designs were relatively affordable at $69 per polo shirt.

He's special when he co-designs entire lines, so I was shocked when he posted a photo to Peter Miller. Then I went down the rabbit hole to find out what was going on with Rose's relationship with Bonobo.

A search on Twitter reveals that he was wearing his usual brand when he played alongside Charlie Hull in the Grant Thornton Invitational. He also tagged Bonobo in his Instagram post.

The British athlete also wore his collection at the Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas in early December. Rose also tagged them in her Instagram post.

This may deter many people from thinking this is anything but temporary, but I took it a step further. Does Rose still follow Bonobo on Instagram? Are they still after him? Who does Rose follow?

Bonobo chases him, but the 11-time PGA Tour winner doesn't chase them, so the plot thickens. But Peter Miller is among the accounts he follows and follows.

Bonobo and Justin Rose Instagram

Upon further digging, I discovered that Peter Miller also follows him on Instagram. However, neither Rose nor the luxury clothing brand have posted about their new relationship. All that exists is that they follow each other and post on Twitter.

Bonobos still has Rose's hashtag on his Instagram profile, so everything is in doubt.

So I went to the Bonobos website and things just got more and more interesting.

All of Rose's collections are on sale or sold out. This move could be in preparation for a drop in the 2024 line. But given all the other evidence, the situation only became more interesting.

Peter Miller and Rose may have a new relationship, but it still feels questionable for Bonobos to use him for the entire brand. What gives? It's strange that they didn't announce this move, but it seems like it's being hush-hush. no one is talking about it.

So will Rose be leaving her longtime clothing sponsor? Although nothing has been officially announced, this small investigation only raises more questions.
