The first week of preseason football is officially behind us!
Rookie quarterback Shedure Sanders had a noteworthy performance in his NFL preseason debut, throwing for 138 yards and two touchdowns as Cleveland triumphed over the Carolina Panthers with a score of 30-10. Meanwhile, New York’s Jaxson Dart had a solid outing too, completing 12 out of 19 passes for touchdowns and adding 24 rushing yards.
This week was particularly significant for backup quarterbacks. Sam Howell from Minnesota, Stetson Bennett IV of the Rams, and Skyler Thompson from Pittsburgh all led their teams to victory.
