Tens of thousands of users reported an outage across Spotify, the popular music streaming app.
According to Downdetector.com, which tracks site outages, more than 45,000 issues were posted by approximately 9:30am on ET ET.
The majority of users have been about issues related to the Spotify app, but some have also reported glitches on their website.
“We are aware of some issues now and are checking them out!” Spotify wrote on a I’ll post it on x.
Annoyed users complained about the repeated stoppages on Spotify, but vowed to switch platforms.
“I literally downloaded SoundCloud as compensation,” one user wrote on the downdetector site. “Ads are a good option. If Spotify can no longer provide it, then you’ll need some form of music.”
