The Giants waived veterans Isaiah Hodgins, Jacob Johnson and Darnay Holmes as they continued to cut down their payroll to 53 players, according to multiple reports.
Former Pro Bowl receiver Allen Robinson was also released, according to NFL Network.
Hodgins scored a touchdown in the Giants' 2022 playoff win over the Vikings and has scored seven more touchdowns in 25 regular-season games over the past two seasons.
The Giants drafted Holmes in the fourth round in 2020 and re-signed him to a one-year, $2 million deal this offseason despite his limited playing time on defense last season.
Holmes played key minutes along with other reserves in the team's preseason finale against the Jets and suffered a neck injury.
Johnson, a five-year NFL veteran, spent the past two seasons with the Raiders before signing with them earlier this month as an addition to the tight end and fullback positions.
Linebacker Tomon Fox, cornerback Tre Herndon, running back Dante Miller and tight ends Lawrence Cager and Jack Stoll, who have been on and off the Giants' roster since 2022, were also released.
Receiver Miles Boykin and center Jimmy Morrissey were also waived, but according to ESPN, the Giants are hoping to reinstate them to the practice squad.
