Isaiah Stewart of the Pistons seems to challenge an NBA veteran

During the third quarter of Wednesday’s game, a tense moment unfolded between players from the Detroit Pistons and Milwaukee Bucks. With the Pistons ahead by seven points, center Isaiah Stewart confronted Bucks veteran Bobby Portis. The exchange escalated as Stewart raised his fist, possibly suggesting he was ready to throw a punch.

Portis seemed to back off, but players from both teams quickly moved in to diffuse the situation before things got out of hand. Unfortunately for Stewart, he was assessed a second technical foul and was ejected from the game immediately. Portis also received a technical foul.

Returning to the bench, Stewart expressed his frustration to coach J.B. Bickerstaff, declaring that he intended to confront Portis after the game—a promise that apparently didn’t come to fruition.

In the end, the Bucks managed to pull off a comeback, winning 113-109. Kevin Porter Jr. led the scoring with 26 points, while Portis contributed 13 off the bench. Meanwhile, Giannis Antetokounmpo was sidelined due to a calf injury, a situation compounded by ongoing trade rumors; he only played for three minutes.

In terms of performance, Stewart had five points in 18 minutes before his ejection. For the Pistons, Tobias Harris was the standout with 20 points and five rebounds, while Cade Cunningham added 17 to the team’s total.

As of now, Milwaukee is at a record of 10-13 this season, while Detroit stands at 17-5.
