Israeli Defense Minister Katz said Thursday he welcomed President Donald Trump's many Palestinians to leave the Gaza Strip.
Katz said Trump's “bold plans” could “create widespread opportunities for Gaza people who want to leave.”
Trump's plans initially said the US would restructure territory while Gaza's population was relocating “permanently,” but US officials later retreated those comments, and the relocation was temporary He said that.

“The US will take over the Gaza Strip, and we will work with it,” Trump said at a joint press conference with Netanyahu on Tuesday evening. “We own it, and we are responsible for dismantling all bombs and other weapons that are dangerous on the site.”
“We will level out the site, remove the destroyed buildings, level out, and create economic development to supply unlimited work and housing to local people,” he said. “Please do a real job. Do something different. You can't return. If you return, it will end in the same way for 100 years.”

Katz said he believes the plan should include multiple exit options in countries that are willing to receive them.
“The plan includes exit options through land intersections and special arrangements for departures by sea and air. Countries such as Spain, Ireland and Norway have misled Israel about their actions in Gaza. It is legally mandatory to accuse Gazan of their territory.

To date, the plan has been rejected not only by Palestinians, but many in the international community who believe it is a forced evacuation and violates international law. Rights groups said it amounts to forced movement in violation of international law.
