The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced on Saturday morning that it had eliminated the head of the Hamas terrorist network in southern Syria.
The Israeli Air Force attacked Ahmad Muhammad Fahd following intelligence from the Israel Defense Forces.
According to the IDF, Fahd is responsible for carrying out terrorist attacks against IDF forces and Israel from southern Syria, including launching projectiles into the Golan Heights region.

The IDF said he was removed while planning an “imminent” terrorist attack.
The IDF said it remains committed to eliminating Hamas terrorists, regardless of their location.
The Israel Defense Forces also announced that it would call up three reserve battalions for operational operations and to strengthen the defense of the Central Command.
