Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant released a video on Wednesday revealing some of the documents recovered by soldiers in the Gaza Strip, including a photo of the children of Hamas leaders celebrating the Sept. 11 terror attacks.
The photo shows three children, believed to be those of Yahya Sinwar, standing in front of the burning World Trade Center.
“These are the children of Muhammad Sinwar posing against the evil events of September 11th,” Gallant said in a video posted on X (formerly Twitter).
“This is a picture that shows what we have been fighting since October 7th. ISIS, al-Qaeda, Hamas, they are all the same. Yahya Sinwar is the new Osama bin Laden. He is the Osama bin Laden of Gaza. We will engage him, we will find him, we will bring him to justice. Dead or in prison.”
Notably, among the Palestinians celebrate Footage of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks was broadcast on American television stations.
Gallant too Revealed In documents provided to Israeli media, one of Sinwar's lieutenants (who was later killed in an Israeli targeted attack) acknowledged that casualties had reduced Hamas to 25 percent of its former size and that Gazans were turning against Hamas because they were “mentally or physically shattered.”
