PALM BEACH, Fla. — In an exclusive interview with Breitbart News, former President Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican candidate for the 2024 presidential election, spoke out about the lies Biden told during his State of the Union address about a bipartisan Senate. This infuriated his opponent in the general election, Democratic President Joe Biden. The immigration plan stalled in early 2024.

In his speech, Biden said the bill would help solve problems caused by the more than 60 executive actions he took as president to open the border.

“I’ve heard that my predecessor called Congress and the Senate and asked them to block the bill,” Biden said, adding that Trump was “a political victory for me and a political loss for him.” “I was thinking about it,” he said, adding that he believed it.

When asked to respond to Biden’s claim, President Trump told Breitbart News that it was yet another lie. President Trump then pointed to the House-passed HR2 border security bill as a bill that would actually help solve the problem, pointing out that if Trump was actually thinking about solving the problem instead of just trying to solve the problem, then Biden asked why his Democratic allies in the Senate didn’t support the bill. Trump also lambasted Biden as the “worst border president” in U.S. history and explained how various executive actions Biden had taken caused the crisis.
