On November 15, she was photographed paddleboarding while wearing a stylish black athletic minidress, complete with a visor and sunglasses.

Rachel Williamson, a physical therapist, highlighted how paddleboarding can improve balance, which tends to decline with age. “It’s an adaptable exercise designed to challenge stabilizer muscles,” she explained.

Experts also recognize paddleboarding as a form of “dual-tasking” that helps enhance cognitive health. Williamson emphasized the importance of challenging both the mind and body to prevent cognitive decline. “Activities like these keep our brains sharp,” she stated.
Additionally, paddleboarding encourages mindfulness and relaxation, which can reduce stress and inflammation, two significant factors in chronic disease. Ezek recommended beginners refrain from overexerting their arms, stressing the importance of using core strength and maintaining balance for smoother paddling. He suggested starting in calm waters and wearing a life jacket, especially for those feeling uncertain.

Engaging in paddleboarding just twice a week can lead to noticeable improvements in core strength and posture, with results seen even with weekly participation. According to Ezek, the activity is adaptable for all ages and fitness levels, making it an ideal choice for families. “It’s a great mix of relaxation and workout,” he said, noting that it appeals to a broad audience, including children and seniors.
