Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, suspended its fraternity on October 25 following allegations of sexual assault.
According to a Nov. 8 alert from the Cornell University Police Department, a police officer responded to a call over the Halloween weekend stating that “several men had sexually assaulted her and forced her to take ketamine and other drugs.” In response, the Ivy League school temporarily suspended Chipi this week.
According to police, the individual went to police on Nov. 8 and reported the incident.
Neither Cornell University nor Chipi University immediately responded to Fox News Digital's inquiries, but police said the fraternity involved in the Nov. 8 crime alert on Edgemoor Lane in Ithaca was suspended “immediately.” I confirmed that it has become.

university newspaper, Cornell Daily Sunfirst reported on Chipi's suspension. The Sun also reported that a group of student activists called Riot Moon broke the windows of the Chipi fraternity house and spray-painted it after the incident was reported.

“We are declaring a campaign against fraternities as collective perpetrators of campus sexual violence,” Riot Moon told the paper.

“The problems run deep at Cornell University, deeper than any residence hall, deeper than any generation of students, and certainly deeper than any one-time action or suspension can solve,” the board wrote. “It is the result of a misogynistic and hierarchical organization that is itself rotten to the core. It has become increasingly clear that replacing it with an inclusive space has committed an unspeakable crime, as it does every semester.
