Harry potter Author JK Rowling has threatened to take “legal action” against a transgender-themed fansite for spreading what it claims are lies about her family.
On Wednesday, JK Rowling fired a salvo against Wizarding News. Harry potter The fan site has recently focused on promoting transgenderism and reporting on the so-called “end of JK Rowling’s legacy.”
Wizarding News appears to have published claims that Rowling’s daughter is trying to distance herself from her mother. The site also reportedly featured photos purporting to be of Rowling’s daughter and grandson, but Rowling disputed that the people in the images had been misidentified.
“That’s not my daughter,” Rowling wrote on X. “Your vendetta against me is causing collateral damage to innocent people. If legal action is the only way to protect them, I will take it.”

Wizarding News appears to have removed the image.
The bust-up comes as transgender activists seek to tarnish the reputation of JK Rowling for believing that biological sex is real and that transgender “women” are not real women. This is the latest attempt by She has also been a vocal opponent of gender change procedures for children.
Last year, she joined a growing number of people pushing back against the word “cis” transgender, arguing that people have the right to refuse to use transgender terminology. “Cis” is a trans term for someone whose “gender identity” matches their biological sex. In other words, unless you are transgender or gender nonconforming, you are “cisgender.”
Rowling recently criticized trans activists who have been pushing puberty-blocking drugs on minors, after British medical authorities recently banned their use in children.
She called the activists “a well-funded lobbying group drunk on their power.”
