Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Possible Absence from Game 6

As Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final approaches, the seats at Amerant Bank Arena may see some “blank space.” It looks like Taylor Swift and her partner, Travis Kelce, might skip the match between the Panthers and Oilers tonight, even though TNT’s Jackie Redmond had earlier reported they would be guests on “The Pat McAfee Show.”

Redmond commented, “My ‘good source’ has been downgraded to ‘sources,'” suggesting some confusion about their attendance. On social media, she joked about receiving potentially inaccurate information regarding the couple’s plans.

During her appearance on McAfee’s broadcast, Redmond mentioned she had received solid information about Swift and Kelce being at the Game 6 home. Previously, they had both attended Game 4 in Florida last week, where they witnessed an exciting match—one where the Oilers staged a comeback from a three-goal deficit to win 5-4.

Kelce, after all, is an avid hockey fan who grew up playing sports in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, although he eventually focused on football. Swift’s presence at Kelce’s games has been frequent since they started dating, but their outing to Game 4 was one of the few sports events they’ve enjoyed together.

The couple began dating in the summer of 2023, a relationship that reportedly sparked during an Eras Tour concert in Kansas City, where Kelce tried to give Swift a friendship bracelet—complete with his phone number.

As it stands, it’s uncertain whether they will make it to Sunrise, Florida, for tonight’s game. If they don’t attend, they’ll miss the Panthers’ shot at clinching the series, as they lead 3-2 and are on the verge of potentially winning the Stanley Cup for the second consecutive year.
