Jaime King is back on the market.
The actress, known for her role in “Sin City,” has finalized her divorce from Austin Sosa after less than two years of marriage, which they kept under wraps. Court documents reveal that a Los Angeles judge finalized the dissolution of their marriage last Friday, officially marking both of them as single.
The judgment indicates that while Sosa retains the option to seek spousal support from King, the court has ended any possibility of award support for King from Sosa.
Interestingly, the couple didn’t have any children together.
King’s representative did not provide an immediate comment when contacted. Previously, it was reported that Sosa, at 34, had moved quickly to expedite the divorce, filing for an uncontested dissolution in June, claiming there were no joint assets or debts to divide.
In January, Sosa had originally filed to end the marriage, citing “irreconcilable differences” with their date of separation listed as November 11, 2025.
At the time, King expressed to Page Six that she was completely taken aback by this development, stating, “I was completely blindsided by the divorce filing, which came out of nowhere. I was with Austin the night before it became public, and while, you know, like many couples, we had our usual problems, I honestly thought we were working through those.”
The filing followed reports that King had been seen spending time with hotelier Vikram Chatwal in Los Angeles, though she denied any romantic link between them, asserting that their meetings were purely professional.
Prior to their separation, King and Sosa managed to keep their marriage quiet. It was only revealed in January that they had tied the knot on April 23, 2025, several months before King announced their engagement publicly that July.
When she shared news of her engagement, her rep mentioned that King was “embracing a joyful new chapter” and was particularly pleased her sons had developed a good relationship with Sosa and his family.
King has two sons, James, 12, and Leo, 10, from her previous marriage to filmmaker Kyle Newman. Their divorce, which King initiated back in 2020, was finalized in September 2023 after a contentious process. Custody disputes followed, resulting in Newman receiving sole physical custody in March 2025, as King did not complete a court-ordered rehabilitation program. They still share legal custody, with King permitted supervised visits.
