Jake Paul discusses his biggest issues with state of country, what ‘young people want’ out of a president

Jake Paul may not be your average 27-year-old in the United States. In fact, he’s been residing in Puerto Rico in recent years.

But having been born and raised in Cleveland and having spent most of his life in the US, the YouTuber-turned-boxer still has a good grasp of what’s going on in the US.

Paul recently told The Hollywood Reporter that he’ll likely vote for Donald Trump in November, but on “Jesse Watters Tonight” he said it’s not necessarily a political decision.

“It doesn’t matter if it’s Democrat or Republican, it’s about who the president is going to fight for us, who is going to represent us in the best way possible,” Paul said on the show. “That’s what young people in America really want. We want solutions, we don’t want marketing, we don’t want this nonsense being put in our face.”

“We are the smartest generation. We have had the most access to information and knowledge of any other generation. You can’t fool us. All we want is truth, and authenticity.”

Watters asked Paul what the solution was, but Paul laughed and said it wasn’t his “expertise” and that his show didn’t have enough time to cover all of the country’s problems.

But he found something worth emphasizing.

“We know people are struggling with jobs, mortgages that are too expensive to pay, inflation, price increases, minimum wage increases,” Paul said. “People are struggling with paying off loans, struggling to go to school, and they’re feeling like, ‘Hey, I’ve got a college degree, but what’s it going to get me?’

Paul then said that while Americans are not healthy, it’s not necessarily through their own fault.

“I think there’s a big problem with the food we eat. What we put into our bodies and what’s sold in grocery stores is causing big health problems. I think we need to have a big conversation with the National Institutes of Health.”

Paul’s stance on the country’s “health issues” also influenced his motivation for founding W, a new personal care line for men.

Paul says it’s been about two years in the making and it all started when he walked into a store and saw “the same products I saw when I was about eight years old.”

“Nothing had changed, [I knew] “I knew I could make a better product with a better formulation,” he said. FOXBusiness In an interview earlier this week.

Paul said he was forced to stick with his W release due to the recent postponement of his fight with Mike Tyson and that he intends to focus on that line before resuming training.

The fight was postponed from July 20 to November 15 after Tyson experienced a health scare on a flight.
