Jalen Brunson’s heroic shot the latest all-time Knicks moment

Detroit – A few years from now, Jalen Brunson will be the Punch Eye and Grayer. Patrick Ewing now has one of those seats. So did Senator Bill Bradley. John Starks, Latrell Sprewell. Earl the Pearl.

Those eternal Nicks are officially respected every time they appear on the video board. The joint will be a banana. PA man Mike Walchevski always screams, “Nick once, always Nick!” ” And it got bigger and bigger, and the old ball player's mouth went “Let's Go Knicks!” camera.

Sometimes the camera finds Clyde Frasier and feels like the wall is falling apart. It's been almost 50 years since Clyde played his final game as Nick, but in a week he's been 55 years since he dropped 36 points, 19 assists and seven rebounds for the Lakers in Game 7.

That's what Branson looks forward to 20 years and 15 years from now. Knicks fans remember. And they will definitely remember this amazing escape. Those numbers were just part of the story when Branson scored 40 points and handed out seven assists to ultimately force the Detroit Pistons.
