Jamie Foxx is speaking out after he was allegedly “hit” by flying glass during an argument at a Los Angeles restaurant on his 57th birthday.
The comedian addressed the controversy subtly Via Instagram On Sunday, she wrote, “The devil is busy…but I'm blessed enough not to stress.”
“The devil lies,” he continued in the caption. “We can't win here…Thank you everyone for your prayers.” [sic] and check [sic] On me…when your light shines brightly…they try to bring darkness to you. ”
“But they don't know that you were born for this…The light is shining bright,” Fox added.
The “Dreamgirls” star also thanked fans for watching her newly released Netflix special, “What Had Happened Was,” which is currently number one on the streaming platform.
“If you haven't checked it out yet, please do. This is from my heart and soul,” he concluded.
On Saturday, a spokesperson for Mr. Fox told Page Six that while he was partying at Mr. Chou's the night before, “someone from another table threw a glass at him, which hit him in the mouth.” Ta.
“He had to have stitches and is recovering,” the agent said. “Police were called and the matter is now in the hands of law enforcement.”
According to a press release from the Beverly Hills Police Department, police responded to the scene shortly after 10 p.m. local time after receiving a report of an assault with a deadly weapon.
Police said the charge of assault with a deadly weapon was “unfounded” but acknowledged there was a physical struggle “between the parties.”
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
Witnesses told TMZ that the guests were being “rude and condescending” to Fox, who asked them to leave him alone because he was with his family.

Prior to the incident, the “Blame It” singer I saw him signing autographs Outside a celebrity spot, he told photographers he had a near-death experience last year but was grateful to be alive.
Fox spoke out about his health scare a few days ago on a Netflix special that aired on Tuesday.
The “Just Like Me” singer revealed that he was hospitalized in April 2023 due to “a brain hemorrhage that caused a stroke.”
Fox claimed he could not remember the weeks he spent in the hospital and said doctors were unable to determine the cause of the bleeding on his brain.
“I still don't know exactly what happened to me,” he said in an emotional speech. “All I can say is I appreciate all the prayers because I needed them all.”
