Jannik Sinner connected to model Laila Hasanovic following phone find at the US Open

Jannik Sinner’s Possible Romance with Laila Hasanovic

Italian tennis player Jannik Sinner is rumored to be linked with Danish model Laila Hasanovic during his defense at the 2025 US Open.

After claiming his third win against Denis Shapovalov on Saturday, some internet sleuths noticed Sinner checking his phone, suggesting his lock screen features Hasanovic. “Sinner has a photo of Laila Hasanovich on his lock screen, so what about rumors?” one TikTok user commented, sharing clips from that moment.

A shot from above captured the 24-year-old Sinner sitting on the bench, engrossed in his phone.

As the number one player in men’s tennis, Sinner defeated the 27th-ranked Shapovalov with scores of 5-7, 6-4, 6-3, 6-3, paving the way for a fourth-round showdown with Alexander Bublik, who is ranked 23rd, on Monday night.

So far, neither Sinner nor Hasanovic has commented on the swirling rumors regarding their relationship.

Earlier this year, Hasanovic reportedly ended her relationship with Formula 1 star Mick Schumacher. She attended Wimbledon, coinciding with Sinner’s second-round match against Australia’s Alex de Minaur on July 3rd.

Hasanovic has been making headlines, often spotted in the player boxes at major tournaments like the French Open.

In a recent interview with an Italian newspaper prior to his first-round match at the US Open, Sinner did mention he was in love but declined to reveal any names. “Yes, but I won’t talk about our personal lives,” he stated.

This all comes on the heels of Sinner being questioned about a woman seen walking with him in Copenhagen during the Italian Open. He clarified, “Um, it wasn’t a girl… I had to do some business. I only had a few photo shoots there. That’s all. There’s nothing else.”

Sinner also confirmed his breakup with fellow tennis player Anna Kalinskaya at a press event during the Italian Open. The tennis star celebrated his previous year’s victory at the US Open, embracing Kalinskaya after her loss to Iga Swiatek.

It’s worth noting that Sinner faced a three-month suspension earlier this year due to two positive doping tests.
