Jannik Sinner Confirms Relationship Following Vienna Open Win
Italian tennis player Jannik Sinner has officially acknowledged his relationship with Danish model Laila Hasanovic after securing his second victory at the Vienna Open on Sunday.
Earlier reports had connected Sinner to Sports Illustrated model Brooks Nader. During his victory speech, he made a point to mention Hasanovic following an exciting comeback against Alexander Zverev.
“Everyone here is family, girlfriends, friends,” said Sinner, 24, while raising his trophy. “The whole team is also watching from home and we really appreciate the support.”
Hasanovic, also 24, was seen celebrating, applauding alongside friends and family, which included Sinner’s parents, Johann and Sieglinde.
With this title, Sinner joins legends like Roger Federer and Andy Murray as the only ATP No. 1 members to achieve multiple victories in Vienna. This marks his fourth title of the year after previous wins at the Australian Open, Wimbledon, and the ATP500 in Beijing.
Before their official acknowledgment, some observers noticed Sinner checking Hasanovic’s phone during her third-round match at this year’s U.S. Open. They speculated that the phone wallpaper featured a picture of her from a July Armani Beauty post.
Interestingly, Hasanovic had appeared in Sinner’s player box at the French Open, suggesting their connection might not have been new.
Earlier this year, she reportedly ended her relationship with F1 driver Mick Schumacher. Nader’s connection with Sinner made headlines during the U.S. Open. While she didn’t confirm or deny their relationship, she jokingly addressed the speculation on “Watch What Happens Live,” commenting on the vagueness of the term “dating.”
During the show, Nader, 28, remarked, “I mean, women never kiss or confess, especially twice. That’s not very good, especially twice.” She added that she wasn’t sure if Alcaraz and Sinner were acquainted.
Meanwhile, Nader’s sister, Grace Ann, has confirmed her relationship with Alcaraz, illustrating the tangled web of connections in the tennis world.
