Jannik Sinner, the Italian tennis player, and Danish model Laila Hasanovic were spotted on a date night in Dubai. They made a rare public appearance at the opulent “Billionaires Dubai” dinner show at the Mandarin Oriental Downtown.
In a video from the event, Sinner, 24, is seen smiling and leaning in to chat with Hasanovic. His coach, Simone Vagnozzi, also made an appearance in the footage.
Interestingly, Fernando Alonso, the Spanish race car driver, took a selfie with them, which was shared by Billionaire Dubai.
Sinner publicly acknowledged their relationship after clinching his second title at the Vienna Open in October. “Everyone here is family, girlfriends, friends,” he said, glancing at Hasanovic in the crowd with his family present. He added that the entire team appreciated the support from home.
The couple stirred some buzz online after fans noticed Sinner checking his phone following his match against Denis Shapovalov at this year’s U.S. Open, leading to speculation that his wallpaper featured a photo of Hasanovic.
Hasanovic was seen in Sinner’s player box during the French Open earlier this year. She reportedly ended her relationship with F1 star Mick Schumacher prior to this. Interestingly, around the same time, Sinner was rumored to be dating Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Brooks Nader during the U.S. Open.
In a lighthearted moment on “Watch What Happens Live,” Nader addressed rumors suggesting that Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz were dating simultaneously while competing on the court. “I mean, women never kiss or confess, especially twice,” she joked on the September 17 episode. Nader’s sister later confirmed that Brooks was indeed dating Alcaraz during that period.
