Kennedy, the wife of Denver Broncos quarterback Jarrett Stidham, became his biggest fan after he won his first NFL career as a starter against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.
The influencer and content creator, who played football at Baylor University, shared a series of information. Congratulatory post on Instagram storywhich also includes a video of him toasting with friends after the game after Denver's 16-9 win at Mile High.
“Last home game, first start for the Orange & Blue, first win of my career!!” Kennedy wrote “Victory” above a photo of Empower Field's jumbotron.
Stidham threw for 224 yards and one touchdown in his first start, replacing Russell Wilson on the bench.
Another photo showed Kennedy, who is pregnant with Stidham's soon-to-be-born son, walking out of the stadium hand-in-hand with their daughter Lennon, 1.
Kennedy captioned the post: “Now it's time to celebrate.”
Another video shows the couple enjoying a private dinner with a group of friends after Denver's final home game of the season, with Stidham raising a shot glass.
“Cheers to so many things! But most of all this team is a family,” Kennedy wrote above the clip.
Stidham and Kennedy, who married in 2019, shared a kiss in the New Year, as seen in another snap.
“Thank you 2023,” she wrote. “2024 is coming.”
The Broncos announced last week that Stidham would start the final two games of the season after Wilson was benched.
The offense still struggled with Stidham under center, but the Broncos' defense stepped up and helped him get his first career win.
“When I got back to my locker, I texted my wife about how great it was to get my first NFL win,” Stidham said.
“But it's not about me. … It's about the team winning for the eighth time this year.”
Broncos coach Sean Payton praised his backup quarterback after the win.
“(Stidham) was calm and composed,” he said. “He was efficient in and out of the huddle.”
