Jason Aldean Unveils New Song at 2025 Patriot Awards

Country music star Jason Aldean took to the stage at the 2025 Patriot Awards, held in New York City, to perform his latest single, “How Far Does a Goodbye Go?”. This song, released on September 12, is described by Aldean as “a song for anyone who has ever felt the pain of a breakup.”

After the awards ceremony, he shared exciting news on social media about his upcoming album, set to drop on April 24. Fans were quick to express their joy online; remarks such as “Best news ever🔥Happy Friday!!” and “So excited and can’t wait to hear everyone!!!” filled the comments section.

Interestingly, Aldean’s wife, Brittany, will feature on one of the album’s tracks titled “Easier Gone.” It seems their partnership extends beyond just marriage, capturing moments in music as well.

During the event, Aldean honored the late Charlie Kirk by presenting the inaugural Charlie Kirk Legacy Award to Erica Kirk, his widow. Alongside Brittany and FOX News’ Jesse Watters, Aldean took a moment to reflect on Kirk’s impact, stating, “Charlie was one of a kind and will be forever missed.” He also acknowledged a potential disconnect in musical taste, saying, “I don’t know if Charlie was a big fan of country music… But I think he understood where we were coming from.” Aldean then performed his hit song “Try That in a Small Town,” expressing more heartfelt words in memory of Kirk.

Tragically, Kirk was killed on September 10 while speaking at a lecture in Utah. Aldean had previously shared a tribute to him on Instagram, referring to Kirk as “one of the kindest, smartest, and bravest people” he had ever encountered. He ended with a note emphasizing Kirk’s peaceful intentions for the country, saying, “We may have lost Charlie today, but what he did will live on forever.”
