Petty Officer 1st Class Blake Darling is grateful to Jason Aldean for helping create unforgettable memories for his family.
During a recent Highway Desperado tour, Aldean invited Darling’s two children onstage and said, “You know your dad’s in the military, right?”, according to one media outlet. Instagram Video The country star uploaded it.
“If you don’t mind, I’m planning a little surprise for you today. Can I do it?”

Unbeknownst to Darling’s family, Petty Officer Darling had returned from deployment and was waiting backstage to be reunited with his family.

Darling came onstage and embraced two children, who appeared to be teenagers.

Aldean captioned his Instagram post, “After a 10 month deployment, Petty Officer 1st Class Blake Darling is back home to his family! Thank you to my wife Britney for the surprise. Welcome home!”

Fans were quick to thank the country music star for livening up the military families’ night.
After a 10-month deployment, Petty Officer 1st Class Blake Darling has returned home to his family!
“I get goosebumps every time I see these videos. God bless Petty Officer 1st Class Blake Darling and thank you for your service!” one user wrote.
Another added: “You’re a really good person. Just be yourself.”

Aldean is a longtime supporter of the U.S. military and is proud of the country he lives in.

During an interview with Fox News Digital in July, the country star explained what being an American citizen means to him.
“To me, being an American just means freedom,” Aldean said. “We live in the greatest country in the world.”

“I mean, there’s a reason why everybody else wants to come here, wants to come here, and it’s because they don’t have what we have. So I’m still very proud of that and JapanHowever, sometimes it goes a little sideways and can be hard to recognise.

“But I think we live in the best country in the world,” Aldean added, “so we have the opportunity to go out there and have the American dream, to build something from nothing, to create something from our lives, from ourselves, to change our lives, our families’ lives.”
