The premiere attracted a significant audience, boasting over 1.2 million viewers at one point, who noticed that Kelce’s facial hair seemed darker—he appeared to have dyed it from its salt-and-pepper shade to black.

Along with the facial hair, it looked like he darkened his hair too. In response to reactions on X, Kelce felt the need to clarify his new style, especially after receiving comments from former NFL quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick. He expressed feeling “betrayed” by a teaser clip of the episode and insisted that there’s a “valid reason” for the change. However, he didn’t elaborate on what that reason might be.

Kelce’s transformation was first seen in a podcast episode that coincided with the release of Swift’s twelfth studio album, “The Life of a Showgirl.”

During the episode, Swift shared some of her experiences with the game, particularly her growing affection for football, which began after she started dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. In a light-hearted moment, she recalled an early date where she naively asked about the Chiefs and Eagles Super Bowl matchup, mentioning that her question at the time was met with a stoic reply from Jason.

Swift reflected on how her initial unfamiliarity with football has blossomed into a genuine enthusiasm, especially when the Chiefs drafted receiver Xavier in the 2024 NFL Draft. Her excitement reached a peak as she described running through her house, overwhelmed with joy, saying, “Who snatched you?”
