Jason Kelce celebrates Travis and Taylor Swift on their widely recognized engagement.

Jason Kelsey shared his congratulations with his brother, Travis Kelsey, over some “new news.”

This came a day after Chiefs tight end Travis and pop star Taylor Swift captured everyone’s attention with their engagement announcement on an episode of the “New Heights” podcast.

“Before we dive into [episode],” Jason opened the discussion as the episode began.

“We recorded this podcast on Monday. That day was Travis’ day off, so he couldn’t be here to address this himself. However, as a team here at ‘New Heights,’ I felt it was essential to send out a huge congratulations to Travis and Taylor on their engagement!”

Jason, who previously played for the Eagles, continued while his colleagues cheered him on.

Travis got down on one knee “a few weeks back,” as reported by Page 6.

He expressed his excitement, saying, “The proposal has been heard all over the world! F-K yeah!”

The proposal took place in a garden reminiscent of a setting from one of Swift’s past photo shoots. The couple, dating since 2023, shared a fun caption on a joint Instagram post that read, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are married.”

The post also showcased a close look at the engagement ring, which Travis co-designed.

The couple’s social media content set to “So High School” captured hearts, with fans noting that a hidden detail revealed something “more magical.”

There’s some ambiguity about whether the engagement happened before or after Swift first appeared on the “New Heights” podcast, which also ties in with the release of her upcoming album.

Travis and Swift started dating in the summer of 2023. Earlier this month, Swift reflected on Travis, the Super Bowl champion who previously joked about not giving her a phone number during an ERAS tour show.

In a humorous exchange, Swift compared what she called “Wild Romantic Gesture” with what she dubbed “Man-Tantrum,” suggesting that Travis had turned their podcast into his “personal dating app.”

Before Swift’s guest appearance, Travis had shared numerous details about their relationship with podcast listeners. The show, now in its fourth season, returned this week after a break in July.
