Jason Kelce explains losing his Super Bowl ring in chili

Super Bowl winner Jason Kelsey lost his Super Bowl ring in a kiddie pool filled with chili, spaghetti and other ingredients during an obstacle course competition. He added that he had filed an insurance claim for “a chunk of metal.”

Kelce, along with his brother and fellow Super Bowl champion Travis, explained “.new heights“I published a podcast about how I hosted a game show during a live podcast performance in Cincinnati.

The brothers organized the “Ronbaby Games,” an obstacle course competition that pitted student-athletes against students in a series of events. One of his events involved contestants jumping into a pool of chili peppers, Travis Kelce explained. Jason Kelce corrected his brother regarding the contents of the pool.

“This is actually technically three-way. It’s not just Skyland Chili. There’s spaghetti and cheese. … Guys, the video doesn’t do justice to how disgusting this is. not.”

“Mixed in that chili was a sock with a fake ring on it. And there was actually only one real ring in it. That was my Super Bowl ring, but it wasn’t. There were also replica Super Bowl rings of the sort,” Jason Kelsey recalled. . “He had two Super Bowl-like rings, one in each pool, that he had to find.”

The now-retired Philadelphia Eagle explained that the game was canceled because he was “continually” losing his Super Bowl ring, but the team was unable to find it after the game.

“I’m looking through the chili peppers trying to find the sock that had my Super Bowl ring in it, but I haven’t found it yet. All of these things have been thrown away, so my Super Bowl is safe.” “I think it’s safe to assume that the ring is currently in a landfill somewhere in the Cincinnati tri-state area,” he predicted. “I didn’t think that would happen.”

His younger brother playfully mocked his disappointment.

“What did you expect to happen?” Travis asked.

“I was thinking of going in the pool and then going to get my ring,” Jason replied. “The only thing I can think of is that at some point, a sock got kicked out of the three-way, jumped out of the pool, and was somehow discarded. It’s a Super Bowl ring.” We’ve already seen it. I’m making an insurance claim and I think the insurance company has something to say about whether or not it will cover it. ”

“They 100% will, especially if they’re going to tell the whole world how they lost it,” Travis retorted, confused.

The pair then debated whether losing the ring in a chili container was a reasonable excuse, and Jason said that as long as he “knew where it was,” it didn’t matter where he put it. No,” he said.

In the end, Jason Kelce said he thought he could get another ring made, which he described as “just a hunk of metal,” but he also learned that metal detectors don’t work with the Skyline brand. This is because chili peppers contain a small amount of iron within themselves.

“Kids, if you’re watching at home, don’t do what Jason is doing. Just don’t do it,” Travis warned.
