Jason Kelce can check one item off his bucket list.
The recently retired Eagles center took a big step, or rather, a jump, into his post-playing career, hopping onto a fiery table as part of the podcast “New Heights,” which he co-hosts with his brother Travis.
In a video teasing Wednesday’s next episode shared to the podcast’s He was wearing a green long-sleeved shirt and pants.
“I’m Jason Kelce, and welcome to New Heights,” the former NFL star said, in the same vein as his introduction on MTV’s “Jackass,” while riding in the back of what looked like a fire truck. ”
Kelce then jumped out of the truck and onto the burning table, which crashed to the ground with all of his 295 pounds on it.
Part of his butt caught fire, and firefighters at the scene quickly extinguished it manually.
Jason was jumping on the table and having fun while Travis was beside him smiling and laughing.
Kelce, a six-time All-Pro, made a lot of headlines when he supported Travis and the Chiefs in Buffalo in this year’s AFC Divisional Round.
It looks like he came out unscathed.
He tailgated with fans before the game, and during the game, he came out shirtless from the suite where Taylor Swift also lived and chugged beer in front of Bills Mafia.
Nevertheless, in a podcast episode released after the game, Kelce revealed that he didn’t actually jump on the table during the pregame festivities, an iconic tradition among Bills fans. It has become.
“We were hoping we would get a chance to get through the table, but that didn’t happen,” he said. “There are no tables…I don’t know what we were expecting, but everyone was so excited to be there and enjoy some good soccer.”
It might not have happened in the Bills game, but Kelce was finally able to do it in this game with some extra banter.
