Jason Kelsey went out of his way to prove he wasn't sleeping during Taylor Swift's Ellas Tour performance in Miami on Friday.
In his and Travis Kelsey's latest work Podcast “New Heights”, The Chiefs tight end, who has been dating Swift since last summer, accused Jason on Friday of appearing to take a nap while sitting in a private suite at Hard Rock Stadium, and Jason revealed the receipt.
It all started when Jason's former Eagles teammate Beau Allen, who attended the show with him, shared a photo of the future Hall of Fame center seemingly asleep in his seat.
“This is the best show ever on stage and you're sleeping here?” Travis asked.
Jason later explained that he was not asleep, but was taking beats in his seat, as he felt like he was “in a fishbowl” with so many people watching him during the concert.
“The amount of energy was insane. It was very exciting,” Jason said. “But let's get back to this photo. A little background on this. So Kylie is holding Elliott. [their daughter]. Ellie was with me and we were dancing and I was sitting so I was on the same level as her and we were here in the middle of the open air with a bunch of people at the show. I came…and my mother [Donna Kelce] It was my first time there.
“When I went outside, I realized that I was like in the middle of an open space and not like an enclosed box. So I was like, “I'm going to sit down…I… I felt like I was standing there, holding Ellie, I felt like I was in a fishbowl, everyone was staring at me, so I sat down. I was dancing with Ellie, and Ellie went to Kylie. , and then I'm just sitting here feeling, tapping my thigh, and all of a sudden I'm listening to that song right now. [now X] And I saw this fucking photo. Me too, what the hell?
“I'm not sleeping, and I can prove it. This photo has proof that I'm not sleeping.”
But Travis didn't accept that.
That's when Jason asked podcast producer Jets Jake to post a photo.
“Jake from the Jets, zoom in on my right hand so Travis can see this. My hand is hovering. I can't sleep with my hand hovering in my lap,” Jason said. Said. “It's impossible. You can't sleep with your eyes open, much less hover your hands because you're flapping your feet… This is one of my favorite parts of the show, 'cause it's raining. Travis said he felt “FOMO” about missing Swift's Miami show because the Chiefs were playing the 49ers on Sunday.
Kansas City defeated San Francisco 28-18 to improve to 6-0.
