Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd is Dallas’ latest to be irritated by general manager Nico Harrison.
After months of removal from the stunning Luka Donsic trade, Kid “res” to the Mavericks front office late in the season.
“Kid was understandably annoyed by the team’s injury crisis this season, but he also replied with a midseason Don Sic Trade in the front office, multiple teams and league sources say. DLLS Sports ‘Tim Cato reported. “Even if he shares some of the complaints between Donsic and Harrison that led to his deal.”
When an unexpected deal first made headlines and shook the world of basketball, Harrison took a step further as he revealed he didn’t consult Kid in advance.
“J-Kidd didn’t know about that, but J-Kidd and I are all together and we talk about archetypes and the culture we want to create. “When you match with such a coach, I think I know the type of player he likes.
Whether that was true or not at the time, trade did not age well in Kid’s eyes.
Anthony Davis found the return package on the deal and was hurt in his first game against Dallas.
It was just one of many injuries the team suffered as Dallas also lost Kyrie Irving during the season, becoming an astounding seven healthy players at one point.
However, the injury could be partially due to Harrison, as he fired key members of his training staff and hired a large number of “yes” instead of the most frustrating Kid, but a wild roster switch-up.
“Kid felt asked to reinvent the roster built around certain stars. According to team and league sources, Kato added.[This] Skipping the league’s mandatory post-game press conference in February led to the midseason rage that led to him in particular. ”
Kidd skipped the post-match press conference after his defeat to the King.
