Jason, Travis Kelce ‘would go months’ without talking before podcast

The Kelse brothers were not always in close contact with each other on a regular basis, Jason revealed in a newly published interview.

In fact, the former Eagles Center explained that since “The New Heights Podcast” debuted in 2022, it has helped Jason and Travis Kelce integrate closer together.

“The biggest part of the podcast is talking to Trav.” Jason told Bustle. “Before we started the podcast, we went for months without talking to each other from time to time. The podcast forces us to sit and talk to each other once a week.”

The Kelse brothers both made marks in the NFL, and Jason played all 13 seasons of his career with the Eagles before retiring in March 2024.

Travis spent 12 years in the NFL. All of that was in Kansas City, but after the chiefs fell into the Super Bowl over the weekend, they face questions about whether he would cut the cleats.

Jason suggested that it was a busy schedule that previously limited time to each other.

The pair's podcast became a hit only enhanced by the fact that Travis is on a date with pop icon Taylor Swift.

Jason, now an ESPN analyst, is on hand in New Orleans along with Swift and the rest of the Kelce family, cheering for Travis during the chief's unfortunate Super Bowl game with the Eagles.

Jason admitted, “The game was strange to me.” In a post of x on tuesday.

“On the other hand, I wanted something that was perfect for my brother, but I want to see how successful he is,” he continued. “And on the other hand, there are a lot of people, teammates and coaches in the Philadelphia Eagles organization.
