Odell Beckham Jr. Returns to Giants
WHITE SULFUR SPRINGS, W.Va. — Since Jackson Dart last addressed the media, the Giants have brought in a notable player looking to make a comeback to the team where his NFL journey began over ten years ago.
That player is Odell Beckham Jr., and now Dart has a seasoned wide receiver to connect with both on and off the field. Beckham, who is 33, didn’t play at all in 2025.
“I’m really excited about ‘O,’” Dart mentioned Wednesday after the initial training camp practice at The Greenbrier. “You know, it’s always interesting to see how someone reacts after being away for a while.”
“His focus on his teammates is truly impressive. People often think a big return is all about him, but he really cares about those around him. Having him here has been fantastic. He’s simply a great guy.”
“He’s a strong leader. He’s experienced the highs and lows of the game. Gaining more insight from him will be valuable to our team, considering he’s undeniably a talented player,” Dart added.
General manager Joe Schoen has not only weathered the challenges of two rough seasons with records of 3-14 and 4-13, along with the dismissal of his close friend and former Giants head coach Brian Daboll, but he has also received increased job security from the team’s ownership.
Following the NFL draft, Schoen signed a multi-year contract extension, reportedly for four years, to align his future with head coach John Harbaugh.
“We are very thankful to Mara and Tish’s family for extending our contracts,” Schoen expressed. “I’m grateful and eager for the upcoming season.”
“My coach and I plan to collaborate and bring together the best group possible to win games. The duration of the contract isn’t the main focus; we need to perform at our best, year after year. Our aim is to assemble a strong team for 2026, and I believe we’ve made solid progress this offseason.”
