Jaxson Dart Impresses Giants Fans Online
Heart eyes emoji, anyone?
On Monday, Jaxson Dart, the rookie quarterback for the Giants, caught the attention of fans with a captivating video on Instagram that showcased his arm strength.
In the quick clip, Dart, 22, can be seen throwing footballs at targets while on a jet ski, which added an exciting twist to the display of skill.
Despite being a late draft pick, Giants supporters have rallied behind him, expressing their hopes and expectations online. One fan commented, “Jackson should save the franchise,” while another reminisced about the past, saying, “As a child, I grew up with Eli [Manning]. My son’s name is Eli, too.”
With anticipation growing, one fan eagerly stated, “Let’s start the season already!!”
Following a tough 3-14 season, the Giants are re-evaluating their quarterback options, especially after the disappointing performance of Daniel Jones, who recently extended his four-year, $160 million contract.
Dart was selected 25th overall in the 2025 NFL Draft after the team signed veteran quarterbacks Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston in free agency. Wilson, 36, is expected to take on the starting role this season.
Both Wilson and Winston have stepped into leadership roles, recently gathering teammates for a camp in San Diego. Winston, who was a former first-round pick with the Buccaneers, emphasized the importance of collaboration within the team. “My job is to be the best Jameis Winston I can be,” he noted, highlighting the significance of learning from both younger and older players.
As training camp approaches, Dart will have the chance to further develop his skills when rookies report on Tuesday. The Giants will kick off the regular season on the road against the Commanders on September 7th.
