Jay Cutler denies Kristin Cavallari's assertion that she received nothing in the divorce.

Christine Cavalari’s ex-husband has taken steps to refute her claims regarding their financial situation following the reality TV star’s bold assertions.

Cavalari stated that the NFL player never supported her business, the rare James, and that she received no financial assistance in their divorce. Cutler responded, labeling her statements as “completely false” during episodes of his podcast.

“Let’s think this through,” he said. “Not a penny? You can look up how much I earned throughout my NFL career online, year by year, over 12 years. When you divorce, both parties get lawyers and go to court.” He pointed out that in Tennessee, a judge wouldn’t allow that sort of statement to stand: “No judge is going to approve a situation where one person keeps everything and the other gets nothing.” It simply doesn’t add up.

Cavalari, during her own podcast, revealed her frustration with the situation, saying, “Our revenue is almost $50 million a year, but it’s frustrating to hear that everything is blamed on my ex-husband. Honestly, I’ve never received any outside funding for the business.” She firmly insisted, “I’ve never gotten a penny from my ex-husband. No money from the divorce, so let’s clarify that.”

The couple was married in 2013 and announced their separation in 2020, with their divorce finalized in 2022.

While addressing Cavalari’s claims on his podcast, Cutler referred to the unusual situation surrounding their financial dealings as “married assets.” He expressed that it was reckless to imply that no funds were shared during their marriage, describing it as “borderline slander.” He insisted that, while he wouldn’t disclose figures, it was definitely not true that it was zero.

In his last season with the Miami Dolphins, Cutler commented on how the money from the divorce didn’t leave him in any financial distress, contrasting Cavalari’s statements.

A source close to them indicated that Cutler’s response aligns with typical manipulative tactics, labeling it as gaslighting. “His reply twisted Christine’s words into something entirely different,” the insider remarked.

Fox News Digital has reached out for a statement from Cavalari’s representative.
